Hello you ancient warriors of the internet,
the reason why I say that is because I have not been blogging in a while and if you are reading this, that means you are really, really bored. I would 100% expect this post to not be read until 3 months from now.
Anyway, I will be off to Gold Coast for a week of fun and warmth. (Away with your head, Melbourne’s winter!) Apart from my India exchange, I have never been anywhere else without a family member. So this would definitely be refreshing!
The party members that I will be going with are the married couple (Bell+Weldy = BELDY), the Tinkly bells (EK + Isabel) and of course my boyfriend.
Hopefully after my trip I would find the time to upload some pictures here(?)
Well, I know it has been a while so let me get you back on the track of my life.
I am (at the moment) a student of Monash University of Caulfield, Melbourne; under the faculty of Business and Economics. Currently an undergraduate studying a double degree course of Accounting / Banking and Finance. (yes, it is 4 bloody years looooong – & YES I can’t wait to NOT study anymore [maybe, just maybe I would regret this when working life hits me])
My boyfriend and I have been sailing on our relationship for more than a year now. It gets tough at times but we manage which is a good thing. I am still praying for God to reveal to the both of us whether we are suited for each other, at the moment nothing bad has really come upon us so that might be a good sign.
& an update on my family, it is GROWING. Ok, not really but we have a new member! Look at lil’ Isaac Kelly (which is the ONLY baby in the picture; and if you still can’t spot him, I’m carrying him). My youngest sister, Hilda is in the middle in stripes. Cousin brother Richie is spectacles; younger brother Benjamin the taller dude at the back; & lastly my older sister Hazel on the right. In general, Isaac is like 19 years(+) younger than I am. Sucks, this is where the complications begin. I might have my grandchildren before he gets his children. (jokes)
& here is a collage my darling mother makes for us. It’s the ‘empty nest syndrome’, it brings out her creativity. Somehow my parents managed to turn the house into a fancy one while we are away from home. Inviting animals in and upgrading the equipment we have at home. For example: the fridge got bigger, the TV went from medium sized to OMG-that’s HUGE.. but cars have now shrunk. From the big family car we had, it transformed into a mini hybrid car. (adorable eh?) These are my parents, adorable and loving.
In the end of the day, I do realise that He plays an AMAZING part in my life. Not only blessing me over and over again with things and people that sometimes I take for granted, He also gave me a life (on earth and for eternity). To spend my days in the future, I have told myself to yield everything to Him; financially, spiritually, physically, emotionally and whatevermore-ally(s) there are :)
I’ll share more of my faith when I get back. But for now, toodles!
Love,
Hannah L.
